1985 Kramer Baretta
About this instrument
The original vintage Kramers were very high quality guitars. It's one of the reasons the brand really took off in the mid-late 1980s. The other reason for their success was their affiliation with Edward Van Halen who was a brand endorsement artist.
The Baretta was supposed to be Van Halen's signature model. But Ed never approved it as such. Ed did appear in print ads with a Baretta in hand and praising Kramer as the best guitar on the market. That was enough to sell the brand.
